Amazing
How could you go wrong with: Blu-ray, 3D, and AIX Records. This is just a fantastic example of the fine work that AIX Records is known for. The AIX All Star band really sets it off with their version of the Goldberg Variations. The 5.1 mixes are incredible and the 3D imagery rounds out this package very nicely. I am looking forward to future 3D Blu-ray releases from AIX.
The world's first 3D Music Album(tm)
This blu-ray 3D disc came out in the summer of 2010 and was the 2nd Blu-ray 3D disc to be available from any company. The only other disc in 3D at time was an animated kid's movies. The fidelity and visuals are first rate...you feel like you're in the same room with the ensemble. The music is a free flowing jazz rendition of the J.S. Back baroque period masterpiece the Goldberg Variations. These amazing musicians jam through a 55 minute version showing off their virtuosity, Highly recommended for the sound, music and 5.1 mixes.
What am I missing?
Yes the 3D Video on this BR is superlative!
The audio is beyond reproach!!
So what could be wrong?
Fifty-five minutes of boring is what is wrong.
The same for AIX's Pachelbel effort!
You might expect this for muzak in the local mall.
These guys will have to do something much better to convince me they are worthy of my BR dollar.
Their BRs have dome nothing to convince me they are worth the hefty price most Classical BRs command.
Thumbs down!!! what a waste of cash!
